Setup of Hardened Linux Repo on AHV - VBR 12.3.2

I am working to get Veeam B&R set up on a new Nutanix AHV cluster.

I need a hardened Linux repo set up to map to an attached NetApp array over iSCSI.

Are there any good guides, written or YouTube or whatever - out there that anyone can recommend to help me go through it? I am a Linux novice at best.

I have built out a VM on Ubuntu 24.04.4 to serve as the repo but building it from there is daunting and confusing to say the least. I also have a VM on Ubuntu 24.04.4 to serve as the Veeam proxy in place.

Just looking for something less opaque than the actual Veeam documentation.
