In our large shared Veeam environment, customers using the Enterprise Manager Restore Portal currently cannot select specific restore proxies for their self-service restores. So a self-service restore is currently not possible and can only succeed if the right proxy is automatically chosen by Chance.
We would like to request the ability to:
Allow customers to select their own restore proxies during restore operations.
Alternatively, allow us to predefine dedicated restore proxies per customer/tenant.
Ideally, customers should only see and use the proxies assigned to their environment/tenant.
If a environment/tenant cannot be chosen then maybe a link between Jobname and Proxy would be an option.

Re: [Feature Request] Proxy Selection for Self-Service Restores in Enterprise Manager / Restore Portal
Hi Vincent,
Are you using dedicated proxies per customer, with network segmentation in place? Or what is the reason to have different proxy server?
If you can share a few details about your environment, I can route it to the right team and look at possible options:
- Which hypervisor do your tenants use today (vCD, vSphere, or something else)?
- Do all tenants share the same hypervisor environment, or does each tenant have a dedicated environment?
- Why do you deploy dedicated proxy servers per customer?
Best,
Fabian

While Enterprise Manager is unlikely to get new features at this point, I still want to discuss your request — instead of Enterprise Manager we can maybe enhance something in our new Backup Server Web UI and Custom RBAC roles.customers using the Enterprise Manager Restore Portal currently cannot select specific restore proxies for their self-service restores.
