Hey guys,
i'm facing an issue while performing a DataLab test. Different runs of the DataLab test lead into different restore results.
On the first run VM A results with an error, on the next run the same VM completes successfully. I observed a vice versa behaviour with another VM.
From my point of view, I would expect a repeatable result when testing the plan. Especially when nothing has changed in the environment.
The VMs which should be restored are mainly running an older version of Oracle Linux Server.
Does anybody seen this behaviour?
Kind regards,
Chris

Re: [Case #08152937] Different restore results during DataLab test
Hi Chris,
Thanks for sharing the case number, but please wait for the conclusion to the case; as noted in our forum rules, you should only post regarding cases if the case is already concluded and you have questions about the outcome or design questions. We cannot meaningfully provide troubleshooting over the forums, so let's see what the Support Engineer finds in the debug logs.
While your expectation is reasonable, environmental factors can / will enter into it, and the debug log review will help confirm what's going on.
While It's likely others have seen similar items, the root cause & solutions will vary from environment to environment, so it's best to let Support do their work and figure out why there are sometimes errors during the DataLab test in your environment.
