Rotated Drives w/Hyper-V

Hello and good evening,

I just spun up VSA and connected our Hyper-V Cluster with it via the web UI. To get some of our backups rolling, new infra, we have purchased 2x 20TB HDD's and I configured a repository w/ rotated drives enabled, with 'Continue an existing backup chains if present' checked.

I then set the HDD's offline on the host level, to allow USB passthrough to my Windows Repo VM. Is the following expected behavior?

Ran a test backup on HDD01, got a full backup. Unplugged and swapped to HDD02, ran a backup and it's own full backup. I swapped back to HDD01 and ran another backup expecting it to pickup on it's chain and create an incremental but it just created another full backup. So HDD01 now has 2 full backups.

I guess I have two questions, does rotated drives support Hyper-V USB passthrough to the VM? And if so is this expected behavior?

Yes, for backup jobs is expected behavior.
