Exclude VM from all reports

Post by matteu »

Hello,

I need to monitor the backup infrastructure on an AHV environment.
I would like to know if there is a solution to exclude some VM of all report globally managed ?

I mean, I would like to exclude all VM I don't backup from all the report.

VBR server, veeam gateways servers, and other VM I don't want backup.

It's working fine if I add them on workload exclusion session on 1 report but I don't find a way to do it manually because global VM exclusion rule are for Hyper-V/vsphere virtualisation environment only I guess ? (on Veeam client )

Thanks for your help

Hello matteu,

You're right, for AHV there are no global exclusions like we have for vSphere or Hyper-V. This is because the data collection and topology tree are built differently for AHV.
In the new reporting you can filter VMs out individually. I understand that this may not be convenient though, and having global exclusions is an interesting request.

Thanks
