Hardened Repo 401 error

Post by leo.white »

Case #08187038

I am working on a deployment for a group of our companies. Ran into an issue with a hardened repo using the Veeam applicance iso. It gets past the certificate handshake. Accepting the thumbprint no problem. Issue comes up when you go to install the missing services. I have reinstalled this applicance about 6 times. Validated the ports are open. I have already setup all the Hyper-v servers and a proxy server at this same site. No issues. I have a second site where I deployed the exact same setup. That applicance worked perfect. So far support hasn't found anything out. I checked the vpn for SSL inspection. It's not on. Anyone ran into this before?

Setup:
Brand new DL380 G12 server
Applicance Vm with OS drive. Then a passthrough disk for storage
Windows VM for a gateway/proxy if needed

Errors:
Unauthorized. The Authorization header is missing or invalid. Status 401 Response
Failed to save Linux server: Unauthorized. The Authorization header is missing or invalid. Status 401 Response
Infrastructure item save failed Error: Unauthorized. The Authorization header is missing or invalid. Status 401 Response

Hi Leon,

I’m personally not aware of this being reported by other customers. If our Support team had identified this as a broader issue, they would typically share the relevant next steps, such as an action plan or a private fix where applicable.

Since this appears to require further investigation, the Support engineer has already escalated your case to the next support tier. They will continue reviewing the details and will provide an update as soon as they have a conclusion or recommended next steps.

Best,
Fabian
