Slow down the request rate

Post by DanielJ »

I have just upgraded to 8.5 and am now following https://www.veeam.com/kb4874 to detect and fix corrupt files. We have several repositories on S3 and I detected corrupt files already on the first one. I start the repair session as instructed, but it's interrupted after 20-30 minutes with "Please slow down your request rate". How do I do that?

Hi Daniel,

It seems that your storage system is overloaded with the generated requests. Please reduce the number of webs in your request argument - ideally, run the repair request per each web ID.

Thanks!

How about implementing a setting (in worst case a registry key) to control the max number of simultaneous S3 requests? As it seems no such setting exists.
