Hello,
our repository server has two raid controllers and one volume per controller + a boot drive for the OS. In the past, we used a standard Ubuntu installation as a hardened repo and configured each volume as an extent in a SOBR.
Hardened repos installed via Veeam Infrastructure Appliances pre 13.1 used the two storage volumes for the repo and configured a spanned lvm group. That was the reason, we didn't used the appliance in the past (performance).
With 13.1, we can add additional storage later and add this space as a second extent in a SOBR. Our plan is now, to install our repo with the 13.1 VIA ISO, disable one of the raid controller before so VIA doesn't create a spanned LVM group. After the initial installation, we would enable the second raid controller and add it as additional Space (second extent in a SOBR).
Should this work or am i missing something? I don't thing it is already possible to create a stripped lvm group via the 13.1 VIA ISO?
Best regards
Chris
