The name "Veeam Agent" on the different components like repository or proxy server, do you mean like the proxy software or the data mover software?
it's a bit confusing with Veeam Endpoint backup agents for me.

Veeam Agent - VeeamAgent.exe is the basic component of VBR that transfers the data (and does many other things with data) = Data Mover in VBR guide.
It has its own important log where in many cases the troubleshooting starts.
