FR: Sort orgas alphabetically when exporting job logs
Hi veeam team,
since some time it is possible to collect logs from selected jobs only.
While this feature is appreciated I would suggest to sort the orgas properly. Currently it is very hard to find what you are looking for if you have more orgas in the environment.
My feature request is therefore: Please sort the orgas alphabetically when exporting logs for selected jobs.
It is already sorted alphabetically in all other log exporting sections but here it is missing at the moment.
Thanks a lot for looking into it.
Best regards,
Bjoern

Re: FR: Sort orgas alphabetically when exporting job logs
Hi Bjoern,
Can you provide an example how sorting looks on your end? because from what I just checked, it works as expected - alphabetically.
Thanks

sure, looks like this https://ibb.co/m1N9pZ1
But when it is expected to work like this already, I guess then I have to open a support case...

Thanks for sharing, now I see where the issue is )
I checked the exported results, not the wizards, and this incosistency should be fixed indeed.

Feature Request: Log retrievel - sort alphabetically
With 8.5 there is a new option when doing log retrievel for support information.
You can select per job, so it only exports information regarding to 1 job.
However the information is not sorted alphabetically, so we have 1000+ organizations where i have to go trough a list randomly to find my org and my jobs.
There is also no search option, so only option is going trough the list manually.
Can you take a look and fix this in upcoming releases?

Hi Mats,
I moved your post to the existing thread on the same feature request.
This issue should be fixed in one of the next releases.
Thanks!
