"Apply Retention now" with error

Good morning,

When I do an "Apply Retention now" on one of the repositories I get the following error

8/25/2026 9:11:29 AM Error 'Scale-out-Name': Failed to perform 1 backup retention

"8/25/2026 9:11:29 AM Error "CopyJob name": Failed to perform retention Error: Cannot proceed with the job: existing backup meta file 'ServerName_DC9D4.vbm' on repository 'Scale-out-Name' is not synchronized with the DB. To resolve this, run repository rescan"

There appears to be something wrong with a non-existent VM and a CopyJob writing to an Artesca Repository (Immutable).
We've been experiencing this error for a while, and the VM itself hasn't existed for months, so it's well beyond the retention policy.

We've already performed a rescan of the Artesca Repository.


Even though it's not a blocking issue, we'd like to resolve it.
Could you please help?
