The release notes of V13.1 says:
Migration from Windows-based Veeam Backup & Replication to the Veeam Software Appliance (VSA) is not supported in 13.1
At the moment we have Windows based VBR 13.0.2. Reason is the load of Tapes we do have and unclear if that will all migrate to the VSA properly.
Question: if we update now the Windows base 13.0.2 to 13.1 we cannot migrate to VSA in the future?

Re: No more migration from Windows to VSA after 13.1?
Hi Da Li,
Subsequent 13.x releases will be validated for migration, it's specifically 13.1 that will not be supported for migration.
So you will be able to migrate on a future 13.x release, just not 13.1.
As for your caution on tapes, understood but the migration is more or less a fancier configuration restore, so should be pretty fine even with a fairly substantial tape presence. Review our Migration KB for known considerations & limitations.
