Feature request for H3C CAS Virtualization Platform

Veeam Backup & Replication (VBR) is known for its extensive support for various virtualization platforms. As of the latest update, Veeam VBR supports platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, RedHat KVM, and others. However, there is no official information available regarding the support for H3C CAS Virtual platform. H3C CAS is a comprehensive virtualization and cloud computing management software that offers a range of features and benefits, including compatibility with multiple CPU architectures and operating systems. For organizations using H3C CAS and seeking agentless backup solutions, it would be beneficial to contact Veeam directly or keep an eye on their official announcements for any updates on this matter. In the meantime, exploring third-party plugins or APIs that could facilitate integration between Veeam VBR and H3C CAS could be a potential workaround.

Hello, I am also using the H3C CAS hypervisor. Veeam support is important to me. I want to use my current Veeam license here as well. I would like to receive an update as quickly as possible.

Hello everyone! I also propose that Veeam Backup supports H3C CAS. We are Veeam users and we are going to be forced to change our backup solution just because H3C CAS is not supported. Please include H3C CAS in your roadmap. Thank you.

I would like to raise a request that I believe is strategic for many customers and partners: native support for H3C CAS within the Veeam platform.
As you know, VMware has historically been the leader in virtualization, but recent changes in its business model have driven many organizations to evaluate alternatives. In markets such as Latin America and Asia, H3C CAS is rapidly gaining traction thanks to its flexibility and competitive cost.

Direct integration between Veeam and H3C CAS would bring clear benefits:
Centralized VM-level backup management without the need for individual agents.
Instant VM recovery directly from CAS clusters.
Easier scalability for large deployments.
A stronger value proposition for enterprises migrating away from VMware.

I am convinced that this integration would open new market opportunities for Veeam and reinforce its position as the leader in multi-hypervisor data protection.
