[FEATURE REQUEST - Workers VM Generation

Post by CarlosEsteves »

Hello,

About workers creation during backups execution, I see that they are VM Generation 1. Is it possible to have it updated to be VM Generation 2?

Also, I´m not sure about it, but how to confirm if the OS disks to each type of work ( Small , Medium, Large and archive ) is not HDD ?

Thanks

Hi,

The latest release of VB for Azure should already support this. Please update to the latest release and if you face any issues, please open a support case for assistance. If you do open a case, let us know the case ID for future reference.

Hello,

Back to this topic. I have upgraded my VBR to latest version including VBAZ 9

I see workers v5 are now generation 2 and the disks are premium.

Do you know if I can change profile to v7? If it will be create as NVMe controller ?

Thanks

Hi Carlos,

Yes, if you use v7 - it will create a NVMe disk controller type.
