Hi,
Starting with v13, Veeam now supports deploying VMware Proxies as VIA from an ISO.
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/vbr/u ... tml?ver=13
Are there any plans to include remote deployment of VIOs to virtual environments in future Veeam updates?
In other words, I’m curious if it will become possible to deploy VMware Proxies as Workers from a VBR, similar to how Nutanix AHV, Proxmox, SCHC, and Morpheus are deployed.
I like the current method of manually deploying from an ISO to a VMware environment, but it can be time-consuming depending on the size and number of machines in the environment.
I think it would be great if VMware Proxies could also be configured remotely, just like Workers.
Kind Regards,
Asahi

Hi Iio
No current plans, but your request is noted.
About how many machines are we talking?
Best,
Fabian

[Merged][Feature Request] VMware Proxy deployment like AHV Workers
Hi there,
a lot of our customers love the option to deploy workers in AHV or PVE from within VBR.
It would be a nice feature, to also deploy a HotAdd or NBD Proxy (maybe based on the VIA) from within the VBR Console as well.
What do you think about it, is there something planned?
Thanks and best, Markus

Re: About VIA Remote Deployment
Hello, Markus,
Your topic was merged to the previous answer on the same question.
Also just FYI, VIA ISO supports unattended installation with initial configuration, so you can roll out proxy VMs with your vSphere tooling and register them in the console afterwards as per need.
