Veeam log backup hang since 13.1

Today our most critical MSSQL log backup hang for all VMs in that log backup job at "Saving 0 B of transaction logs to backup repository". This never happened with 12.1 but it did now after two days on 13.1.

Disabling/enabling the job which normally helps with any log backup issues did not help. Together with Veeam support we killed the PID of the repository agent which then allowed the job to restart correctly.

Are there known issues with MSSQL log backup and 13.1?

It indeed looks like a possible known issue with 13.1 - support would cross-check your logs and advise you further. Please await for an answer.

I just got word from R&D - it seems to be a race condition on the repository for which we will get a fix!
