Backup Copy and Tape Jobs lose source backup

Hi everyone,

I'm seeing a strange issue after changing the password of the service account used by Veeam and updating the credentials within Veeam on Monday.

After the change, I noticed that a backup copy job and a tape job no longer contained one of their configured source backup jobs.

I manually added the source backup back to both jobs. However, re-adding it to the tape job unexpectedly triggered a new full backup.

The next day, the source backup had disappeared from both job configurations again. As a result, neither the backup copy job nor the tape job processed data from that backup job.

Has anyone experienced similar behavior?

I already opened a support case this morning, but so far I haven't received any feedback. As our tape backups depend on this configuration and I'm not confident the Backup Copy job will retain its source settings, I'd appreciate any input from anyone who has encountered similar behavior. Please continue with the support case; we cannot meaningfully troubleshoot such issues over the forums, and as per the forum rules, you may only post on technical issues once the case has reached a conclusion and you have further questions / comments on the conclusion.

I'm not immediately aware of any such issues, and the behavior in the debug logs will need to be reviewed, so please continue with the Support case.
