Question about the updated ISO file for VBR 13.1.1.18 (released on September 8, 2026)

I have a question regarding the ISO file for VBR 13.1.1.18 that was released on September 8, 2026.

[ Background ]
I am planning to upgrade our environment from VBR 13.0.2.29 to 13.1.1.18.
As of September 7, 2026, I had already downloaded the VBR 13.1.1.18 ISO file from the download page ( https://www.veeam.com/products/download ... rsion.html ).
However, when I checked the download page again on September 8, 2026, I noticed that although the version remains the same (13.1.1.18), the release date has been updated to September 8, 2026, and the SHA256 hash value of the ISO file has also changed.
- Currently published SHA256 hash value: 3c5f058f5774a8ef5053d6e6267a5d38c61f2e874741e27bfa8fd375d751618e
- SHA256 hash value at the time of my download (September 7): ef7d72458cd617c760d8fe84438cdae9f1cf7b3caeb14424446e918492a7384d

Therefore, I would like to know what changes were made to the September 8, 2026 version of the ISO, and whether it is safe to proceed with the upgrade using the ISO file downloaded prior to September 8.

1. Could you please let me know what specific changes or updates were introduced in the ISO file released on September 8, 2026?
2. Is it safe to use the ISO file obtained before September 8, 2026, as is?

[ My Investigation So Far ]
According to the "ISO Release History" section of KB4738 ( https://www.veeam.com/kb4738 ), the VBR 13.1.1.18 ISO was initially released on August 12, 2026, and subsequently updated on September 1, 2026, to bundle the latest Veeam Plug-in for Google Cloud (v8). However, as of the time of writing this post, I could not find any information regarding the September 8 update in this KB article.

Additionally, looking at the release dates of other Veeam products on the download page, I noticed that the following products were released on the same day (September 8, 2026):
- Veeam Plug-In for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (Linux, 13.1)
- Veeam Plug-In for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (Windows, 13.1)

Based on this, I suspect that the VBR ISO was repackaged on September 8 simply to bundle the latest versions of these plug-ins. If we do not plan to use these plug-ins, I assume it should be fine to use the ISO file obtained prior to September 8. However, I am unable to confirm if this assumption is correct.

Current version is:
Veeam Backup & Replication 13.1
Version : 13.1.1.18
SHA256: 3C5F058F5774A8EF5053D6E6267A5D38C61F2E874741E27BFA8FD375D751618E
Size: 22729590784 bytes / 21676.63 MB

You may download and install it. I would recommend to use latest versions, but that that case you may use previously downloaded version as well - Veeam Backup & Replication has updater service.
Latest version includes updated plugins for VB for Azure and Veeam Service Provider Console.

Regarding the update on September 8, I have a couple of follow-up questions to ensure my understanding is correct:

1. Regarding Veeam Plug-In for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization:
Am I correct in understanding that the September 8 ISO update does not include any changes or updates related to Veeam Plug-In for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (Linux, 13.1) and Veeam Plug-In for Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization (Windows, 13.1)?

2. Specific build numbers for VB for Azure and Veeam Service Provider Console:
Could you please share the specific build numbers of the Veeam Plug-In for Microsoft Azure and Veeam Service Provider Console that are newly bundled in this September 8 ISO?
Additionally, could you also let me know what specific fixes or enhancements are included in these new versions?
I checked the following release notes but was unable to determine which specific versions correspond to this ISO release and what changes they bring:
