Password policy

Hello,

I would like to know if the password policy set on the Veeam host management ask for user to change password only if he connects to the host management console or also if he use the 443 web interface and the veeam console ?

Hi matteu,

As noted in the User Guide, the policy applies to all local users. Local users live on the Appliance itself; access to the WebUI / Remote Console is granted to a local user when you assign a Role to the user, that's the only difference.

ok, so the password rotation will always apply for local users and does not depend on the connection method !
It's something normal but I prefer to get the confirmation
