Remove immutable GFS chain

Folks,

We are still running B&R v12, and we have an immutable GFS chain created by a legacy backup copy job, which is not supported in v13.
If I want to remove the entire GFS chain, and start over with a new backup copy job, can I do as follows:

1. Delete the job.
2. Log in to the Linux server, remove the immutable flag on the folder and all files in it, and delete the files.
3. Rescan the repository from the B&R console. Should I rescan the SOBR or just the extent where the files were?
4. Go to the "Disk (Orphaned)" node, right click on the backup, and choose "Remove from configuration".

Hi PJ,

Yes, if you delete the entire folder, including all backup chains, then that process sounds good to me.
As soon as you have removed the backup from the configuration, the upgrade to v13 can be continued.

You need to rescan your SOBR. There is no rescan button on a single extent.
