If a node on Proxmox cluster fails, all backups fail. Veeam support states this is by design and does not support Proxmox clusters directly. Can this be added as a feature request? More and more folks are moving to ProxMox so we should have a solution that fully supports it.

Hi Joe, welcome to the forums.
I'm afraid there was a slight miscommunication here -- there previously was an issue where backups would fail if any of the nodes were inaccessible, however in more recent versions this issue was resolved and backups on accessible nodes will work as you're expecting if there is an inaccessible node(s).
From the case notes, it looks like you're on Veeam version 12.1, is that correct? So Support is partially correct that for that version it was not possible, but to complete that statement, please be informed that once you're on 13.1 it will work as you're expecting.
