Hello everyone,
we have a multi server setup with Management Server, Proxies and a dedicated server for the restore portal. Upgrading the management server and proxies from 8.4 to 8.6 worked out but when trying to install the 8.6 version on the Restore Portal server, installation failes with: Installation failed. Certificate verification failed: certificate invalid.
Restore portal was working well before upgrading.
Already created a support ticket: Case #08250487
If someone was able to solve the issue, let me know. Working on this case with support.

Re: 8.6 - Restore Portal on different server - Installation failed. Certificate verification failed: certificate invalid
Hello
I was able to resolve the problem by adding ".entrust.net" domain in my http proxy so veeam can check the CRL for one of their certificate

Hi Aeph,
thank you for sharing the case with us.
From what I can see, you are already working on this with our Customer Support team, and the deployment has been completed successfully. That’s good to hear. Regarding the root cause, please continue working with Customer Support, as they are best positioned to analyze the logs and provide a proper explanation.
For future cases, we kindly ask you to wait for the conclusion from Support before opening a topic in the R&D forum. As outlined in our forum policies, the forum is not intended to replace Support, and we are not able to provide the same level of troubleshooting assistance there. Posting the case shortly after opening a Support ticket usually does not add much value and may lead to duplicated efforts. The best approach is to continue working with Support first, and if there is a confirmed product-related topic or feedback for R&D, we can then discuss it in the forum.
Best regards,
Fabian
