How to schedule a job to run today at specific time

Hello Everyone,

Is there any simple way to create a schedule to run a job at a specified date and time?
I asked technical support and they say we have to make a feature request. This is too basic a requirement.

Hello,

There's no one-time schedule option, so support is right about that. The job schedule supports daily, monthly, periodic and chained runs only.

This was asked many years ago, as I see in history, but not many really committed to that feature. As of yet we do not have it in plans. As a workaround, you may create a task in Windows Task Scheduler or cron that runs Start-VBRJob at the required time. The task can run on any machine with Veeam Backup PowerShell and connect to the backup server with Connect-VBRServer. Note: PowerShell doesn't support MFA, so the task needs an account without MFA.
