We are in the process of testing upgrading VBR from 12 to 13.
I noticed in the Updates menu there is a new feature called "Update Settings". In the Automatically install drop down you can choose between security updates or security updates and optional updates.
Is there a way to disable this as we like to be in charge of installing updates ourselves?

Re: V13 Auto update feature
Hi Oscar,
These settings are the global update settings for our Veeam appliances (Veeam Software Appliance / Veeam Infrastructure Appliance). This settings have no impact on a Windows-based backup server today.
Security updates cannot be disabled, only postponed by x days.
If you use our Veeam appliances, you can configure the compliance deadline to 90 days. This gives you 90 days to deploy the security updates on the appliances whenever it suits you. After 90 days, the security updates will be installed automatically.
Best,
Fabian

Re: V13 Auto update feature
Hi Fabian,
We do not use the Software appliances, so we should be good to go then.
Thanks for clearing this.
regards,
Oscar
