Hello,
We have some SAP on Oracle backups with giant databases. During restore operations (Refresh, from one system to another) we may have connections issues, network issues, power issues that can close my putty session during restore that can turn the restore down.
It would be good to have a resume option to allow backint to interact with Brrestore to continue the process.
We had that when we were using NetBackup.
I will share below a restore command line as example.
brrestore -d util_file -p /oracle/PLT/sapprof/veeam_initPLT.sap -b bfuasoxd.fnf -m full ( Here we say to the restore operation to use the log file of a restore created in June 27 ). The restore was good until 96% when we had issues and we could not resume by using this command ---> brrestore -d util_file -m all -f rfudcklp.rsb.
It seems the systema can´t identify using the restore log that the restore point mount during the restore process is the one we need.
Below case has been opened with Veeam and logs where shared to help you during the investigation.
Veeam Support - Case # 08157226 - Restore SAP Database (SAP on Oracle Plugin)
Appreciate if you can help.
Thanks
