Question about ABR coexistence within VSA

Hi all,

I already tried to take a look to the v13.1 FAQs and the release notes, but I didn't find an answer to what I was looking for...

I've a new customer that needs to install a fresh new VSA on a new physical server and ideally using this setup also to create a new Application Backup Repository within the VSA itself, since it has just a single server (due to cost saving reasons).

Is it possible to do that?

Currently Application Backup Repository must be deployed as part of a Hardened Repository from the Veeam Infrastructure Appliance.

I've another question: Is it possible to use the ABR in conjunction with the VBR or only with the VSA?

Glad to assist.

Nothing to share on changes at the moment; part of this has to do with the deployment and trying to avoid having end-users needing to configure ZFS / NFS manually, so deploying a single-disk Hardened Repo from Infrastructure Appliance & adding storage afterwards is a bit more simple.

But can consider your request for sure, just nothing to share at the moment.
