Hi,
Looking for some guidelines on maximum number of VM backups we should be sticking to when running backup jobs from a vmware / vsan environment with 300+ VMs.
I am already thinking multiple systems for this, perhaps keeping it to 100 VMs per physical backup server.
Does anyone else have any thoughts/experience on this?

Re: 300+ VM backups
Hi James, it depends on lots of factors such as VM size, number of jobs and their configuration, network bandwidth, hardware you have etc.
You can find more details in VBR Best Practices book.
Answering your question in short, one backup server can work with 300 VMs.
