9.5 Reverse incremental faster?

Post by smarechal » Jan 31, 2017 7:24 am

Hello,

With 9.0 reverse incremental took near 2h, with 9.5, it's like 1h.

Is it "normal"? :)

Hi Siegried,

We did quite some enhancements in 9.5 and one of those was improving the performance even further (which is a goal we have for each version ;-))

If you read the what's new document (it is a long document ;-)) you will notice that many items under the hood are improved to allow better performance: https://www.veeam.com/pdf/new/veeam_bac ... new_en.pdf

So yes, I would say it is perfectly normal :-)
