Any Recomendations for New Veeam Installation?

Hello,
We are switching from a different backup solution to Veeam. We are also switching from Tape Backups with weekly/monthly full backups to disk with synthetic full backups. We will also be replicating between two Exagrid appliances that are located in different cities. Our Veeam server will be virtual.

I am planning on having Veeam Support help setup the solution to ensure that everything is setup appropriately.

I was wondering if you had any suggestions or recommendations to ensure our deployment goes as well or if there is anything I should be asking/mentioning to support during the setup. I suspect Veeam Support will get us setup correctly but I wanted to get your opinions as well if possible.
