Hi,
I would like to get some input on how you would present the backup repository to the Veeam server given the information below.
1. Production VM's (to be backed up) are running on a FC SAN
2. Backup repository can be either NFS or iSCSI
3. Veeam proxy server to be a VM
4. LAN is 1Gbps
5. 30TB to back up
From what I've read the best performance would come from having a physical Veeam server with Direct SAN access but I would like to explore the options for running the Veeam Proxy server as a VM first.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Backup Repository Presentation
Hi, it would be using iSCSI Software Initiator built into Windows. Thanks!
