Best practice in backing up VMware VCenter with separate DB?

Hi,

What's the best practice here to backup Windows based VMware VCenter server 5.1 with separate SQL Server database running as a physical server ?

when the VCenter SQL database is on the same VM, it is fairly simple, but what about if it is separate ? how can I make sure that if I restore the VCenter VM it would function as needed.

As you probably know, we`ve just released Veeam Endpoint Backup FREE for physical machines protection.
So you can use the tool to backup and restore the database.
