Hi, I've a 2 node Vmware cluster with iscsi storage. The iscsi is multipath Gbit x4 adapters.
The Veeam Proxy is a separate off cluster VM with 4 core and 16 gb ram and a 1Gbit adapter.
I've noticed that backups takes long time to complete (only 1,1TB) and the speed is about 25/30MB\s
The "bottleneck" is source.
Do you think there's a way to speed up backups? There arend different managed networks, it is all on the same net, it's a little reality.
Thank you.

Re: Best Way to have speed backup?
Hi Alessandro, judging by the bottleneck, the issue is on the source storage side, particularly the reading speed. I guess the network transport mode is being utilized by the proxy to read the VM data from the datastore - to optimize processing, I suggest trying either direct access or hotadd.
