Can I do Linux FLR via VIX?
I have some linux vms that are not accessible over the network from my B&R server. I know that I can restore files to a Windows VM that is not accessible over the network via VIX, but do Linux FLR restores have this capability? So far every time I try to start a restore the wizard complains that the VM is not accessible over SSH and destroys the helper appliance before I can try anything else.

No, it's not available for Linux FLR today.

I use "instant restore" to different VM name without powering on and mount the instant restored disk as "independent non-persistent" to the running VM. Then I just mount the file system, recover the lost files, unmount, remove the restored disk and cancel/stop the instant restore job.
