Change USB Repository to Rotated Media?

Post by Wad4iPod »

Hi.
We have a BUR 9.5-1 server.
Currently, the repositories are: 1-External USB Drive and a NAS target.
The USB target started as a transitionary repository while we were in project/deployment.
We added the NAS repository later.
Now we would like to transition out of the dedicated USB repository and into USB rotated media destination.

Since the current USB target has active/current backups on it - I hoped we could make a change or two - and it could become the start of our rotated media pool.

Is this possible?

1. Move backup fFiles to new repository and map them:
https://www.veeam.com/kb1729

2. Configure USB disk as rotated reposiory:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95

3. How to "clean" your rotated repository?
