Changing password credentials with Powershell

Post by adept1 »

When using Set-VBRCredentials -Credential <CCredentials> -Password <string> [<CommonParameters>] is it possible to change credentials for multiple servers?
We have about 5 servers and I'm trying to automate this as much as possible.

I'm trying to figure out a way I can change the password on the following:
About 5 Veeam B&R servers
1 Windows Endpoint (running free version 2.0)
Veeam ONE

Please let me know the best strategy for this. Right now we have so many places to change it, and usually we lock out the account in the process.

Thanks,

You can change passwords via PowerShell only on Veeam Backup and Replication server. If you want to update multiple credentials, you will need to run Set-VBRCredentials cmdlet in cycle.

Should you need any assistance with scripting, feel free to create a separate topic on PowerShell subforum.

Thanks.
