Hi All,
Previously when i configured Veeam Backup and Replication Server, I was using my local administrator account to do so.
I was wondering if I can swap the credentials to an AD Admin account or equivalent ? Not sure if there are any dependencies tied to the current administrator account.
If so how do I do that ? Checked online and I don't see a KB indicating any method to do so.
Any help would be much appreciated !
As always, thank's for the help guys
Regards,
Wen Jun

Re: Changing Veeam Backup and Replication Password
Hello wjching.
Yes, you can add another Veeam Backup Administrator user but it must be a local administrator on the machine (so Domain Admin works as well). If I were you I'd add new account with removing the old one to make sure all works as expected (some time pass I'd remove the old account still). Cheers!
