Hello,
I want to clone a backup-job (that includes two Exchange DAG-enabled vm) and separate the vms in two different jobs for troubleshooting.
I am using per-vm mode and Scale-Out Repo.
Is it possible to remap the cloned backup-job to the already existing backup-files created as per-vm ?
(To avoid a full backup.)

Re: Clone backup-job, remap Scale-Out-Repo
Hi Johnny, yes, this is possible. You need to copy the backup (along with the VBM file) into a separate folder that will be the repository for the second job and map this job to this backup. The second node will still be displayed under each job, you can then remove obsolete records using the remove missing restore points functionality.
Just keep in mind that if you want to backup DAG nodes in separate jobs, make sure the schedules don’t overlap and also that all VMs are not being snapshotted at the same time. Here's a good thread regarding DAG backup.
