Hi,
I have installed VEEAM Backup & Replication on my head office.
I use this primary installation to backup VMs located in the head office.
Now I would like to use VEEAM to backup VMs located in our remote office in US.
I have read that VEEAM Backup & Replication provides features to backup ROBO but I could not find any documentation that describes in detail what must be installed or configured:
- Should I install a new VEEAM B&R server on remote office?
- What about backup proxies?
If you can provide me a step by step procedure to deploy VEEAM on ROBO, that will be very helpful for me.
Thanks in advance for your support.

Re: Deploy VEEAM on a remote office
Hello,
It's not necessary to install a new instance of Veeam B&R server.
You can just add a proxy and a repository from the remote office to the backup infrastructure of Veeam B&R deployed in the head office.
I would also recommend to refer to our best practices guide to get a better idea about backup server placement and proxy design.
Thanks!
