Email notifications and DST

Post by Soufiane »

Hello all,

I'm having a problem with email notifications, we are currently in daylight saving time (DST) in our country.

Here what I got in my email report about a backup job:

With DST checked:
Start time 05:00:13
End time 06:03:51
Duration 1:03:37

With DST unchecked (I added manually 1 hour in time settings)
Start time 08:24:45
End time 08:28:07
Duration 0:03:22

Apparently, the End time doesn't take into consideration DST settings.
Is there any way to fix this?

Warm regards.

Hi Soufiane, this doesn't look expected, I will follow up with QA.

Hi, Soufiane!
I try to reproduce your case, but get correct timestamps in e-mail report from my VBR with DST enabled.
Can you add some details about your configuration? Such as:
- Installed VBR version.
- Which type of backup repository you use?
- Which time zone with DST you use?
- any other important config details from your case.

Thank you!
