We are having 1 Enterprise Manager Server and 1 Backup Server with the configuration database already encrypted
I need your help for the following questions
1/Do we need to protect the Enterprise Manager DB or just need to export the pair of EM encryption key which use for forget recover password ?
I recently read this link https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4, the public key of backup server will be stored in EM DB, if EM DB lost, the public key will be lost too? If we create a brand new EM DB, will the public key re-add from backup server to EM DB ?
2/What happen if the Enterprise Manager Server corrupted and we will setup a brand new server with another new Enterprise Manager DB, and then we import the pair of key? In this case, can we decrypt the data for the request from Backup Server for the old backups?

Re: Enterprise Manager Database
Hello,
if you have a backup of the key, you can start from scratch. See https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4
Best regards,
Hannes

If keys are missing for restore (e.g. if you set up a new Enterprise Manager), Enterprise manager will ask to import them.Create backup copies of Enterprise Manager keysets and keep them in a safe place.
Best regards,
Hannes
