error running pre-script-application aware script on linux

Post by davegold »

Hi,

Trying to configure a pre/post script on a Linux VM using the Application aware pre/post script options. We have things locked down pretty tightly, so sudo is pretty important.

Log shows and error running the script:
[10.02.2017 13:43:30] <18> Info Executing: sudo /tmp/8253751e-c9f0-4f6d-9f01-152feedbfc10_veeam-pre.sh;echo $?
[10.02.2017 13:43:30] <18> Info [ScriptInvoker] Exception thrown during script execution (SSH).
[10.02.2017 13:43:31] <18> Info Executing: sudo rm -f /tmp/8253751e-c9f0-4f6d-9f01-152feedbfc10_veeam-pre.sh
[10.02.2017 13:43:31] <18> Info [Ssh] Connection [host: '139.140.228.190', port: 22, user: 'p-veeamrecover-svc', elevation to root: 'yes', autoSudo: no, auth type: 'Password', host name: t-rhel7-a, IPs: [139.140.228.190].] is disposing.
[10.02.2017 13:43:31] <18> Error [ScriptInvoker] Failed to execute script in lin guest machine over SSH. Script path: D:\Veeamscripts\veeam-pre.sh.
[10.02.2017 13:43:31] <18> Error sudo: unable to execute /tmp/8253751e-c9f0-4f6d-9f01-152feedbfc10_veeam-pre.sh: No such file or directory

Questions:
1. Does Veeam set the permissions on the script?
2. Anyone have simple example scripts that definitely work?
3. Any other ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

We'll plan to reach out to support after trying this for a bit longer.
