Exclude databases from tlog truncation, client side setting
Is there a flag, registry key, setting, etc that can be set inside the Windows guest that would stop Veeam from truncating a db's tlogs? The problem I have is managing change requests from DBAs on what databases and or database servers to have tlog truncation disabled. When we are talking about a few hundred DB servers, changes can be frequent. Allowing the DBA to change this at will on their end would be really helpful.

Re: Exclude databases from tlog truncation, client side sett
Hi,
You can use a registry key described in this KB to enable exclude database menu. By using that menu, you will be able to disable entire VSS processing of databases.
Also, you can disable log truncation in the job settings under guest processing, but keep in mind it will be applied to the server, not to the certain database. Thanks!
