Dear team,
I hope this is not a technical limitation that cannot be overcome. Would it be possible to utilise multiple cores to process vmdk files? Our file servers are huge and are terabytes in size. Currently, Veeam allocates 1 CPU core and 2GB of RAM to process per VMDK. The current limitation is a bottleneck as jobs that have large vmdks end up taking considerably longer to process thus increasing the backup window.
Regards

Re: Feature Request: Parallel processing of vmdk files
Actually I think it uses multiple cores. At least I've seen multi-core proxies run at 100% when processing only a huge VMDK (5-10TB).

It doesn't. Veeam technical architects have confirmed that it uses 1 core and 2GB of RAM per vmdk
