Feature Request: Specify which Processing Resources are being waited for

Post by micoolpaul »

Hi,

It'd be great if the Veeam Logs or interface displayed clearly which processing resources are currently being waited for before processing a task, sometimes it's nice and straight forward, but when you get into the realms of Veeam Cloud Connect as well it'd be nice if it was outputted to a log what it's waiting for at the time.

Bottlenecks are of course okay, and everything is technically a bottleneck just at a fast enough speed it's acceptable, but sometimes it's confusing when you believe you've not got a bottleneck but you just haven't looked at the right resource, this would speed up troubleshooting.

Thanks!

Hi,

Would you provide a couple of real-life examples from your practice of "how it is now VS how it can and should be instead"?

For instance, you say:
but sometimes it's confusing when you believe you've not got a bottleneck but you just haven't looked at the right resource, this would speed up troubleshooting.
It sounds just like if the bottleneck data was plain wrong and instead of slow disks on the target it was the network what was slowing things down. Kindly elaborate on how you see possible improvements

Thanks!
