All-
On a new installation (never used yet) the Veeam Guest Catalog Service will not start, it is using a domain Service Account. The Windows
event log basically shows: CRegeneratedTraceException: Failed to create folder K:\veeam\Guest System Catalog\WasteBin. The file or directory is courrpted
and unreadable. Manually drilling down the directory structure gives the same error, corrupted and unreadable.
What could be happening? Prior to this I noted a few Veeam services were not started like backup, broker, etc. They started manually but Catalog service will not.
Thank you.

Re: Guest System Catalog is not accessible - the file or dir
Hi Alan, considering the fact that you had issues with other services, I'd recommend letting support to review your setup. Also, I'd check whether the account used to run the Veeam B&R has the Local Administrator permissions on the backup server.
