Hello,
I'm working on a architecture for a client, and for the sake of using the LTO4 media, I was thinking of having a WAN Repository with Windows 2008 R2 (x64), the "Extract.exe" utility and VMware Player.
The idea is, what should I not forget when testing my DRP ? What other files do I need from my Veeam Backup & Replication Server installation to be able to recover my backups and start the VMs with VMware Player 4 (on paar with VMware Workstation 8 and ESXi 5)
The problem is NFS isnt a way to present VMs to VMware Player, so I'll have to extract them manually.
Please give your advices, and your thoughts about the process.

Re: Guidelines on Backup Windows as Target with VMware Playe
Jean-Charles, with extract.exe tool you will be able to restore VMs from VBK files without any additional instruments.
