install I/O filter failed
Bonjour,
I have a VMware cluster version 7.0.3 and VBR 12.2. I wanted to update the I/O filters, but it didn’t work. I successfully uninstalled version 11 of the I/O filters so that VBR could install the new version 12.2 of the I/O filters, but the installation failed, even though the uninstallation was successful.
The Port 33035 is only open from vCenter to VBR.
The hosts and VBR can resolve the FQDNs.
Do you have any other solutions, please?

Re: install I/O filter failed
Hi @DGUEST,
Thank you for the detailed post and sorry to hear about the troubles.
However, as noted when creating a topic, all technical issues must be troubleshot via a Support Case. Please open a Support Case and allow Veeam Support time to review the issue. Be sure to include logs for Support to review. (Start by using the 3rd radio button to select a host, and select the Veeam server to export logs from)
Please share your case number here once created.
>[28.09.2024 20:22:39.043] <14> Error (3) The operation is not allowed in the current state. (Veeam.Backup.ViSoap.ViServiceFaultException)
>[28.09.2024 20:22:39.043] <14> Error (3) VimApi.InvalidState
Typically this indicates something is amiss on the VMware side, but we won't be able to troubleshoot it over the forums. Support will review the logs more deeply and help identify what may be causing this interruption/triggers the InvalidState error.
Thanks!

Re: install I/O filter failed
Seems like there are not enough logs in the referenced case. Could you please gather the logs again from the backup and vCenter servers (we are particularly interested in the folders storage\log\vmware\eam and storage\log\vmware\vpxd)? Thanks!

Hi, this is not a support forum. Your assigned support engineer will explain the solution (or next troubleshooting steps) to you once they investigate the provided logs. Thank you for understanding

Re: install I/O filter failed
We quickly reviewed the debug logs and noticed a significant number of errors of the type "Failed to read X509 cert". You can find the possible causes for this issue in this article.
Additionally, based on the logs, the problem seems to lie with VMware itself, which, for some reason, decided to remove the updated components. Moreover, it initiated a series of cleanup activities that cannot be executed without entering maintenance mode.
To address this, we recommend manually placing the hosts into maintenance mode (assuming DRS is not configured). Afterward, we suggest running our I/O filter manager wizard multiple times, clicking Next-Next-Next, which will synchronize with VMware and complete the ongoing activities.
In any case, as Anton's mentioned, it would be best to provide all this information to your support engineer and continue the investigation under their guidance.
Thank

Re: install I/O filter failed
Thanks for your assistance.
I found the source of my problem.
Web download was not allowed on Vcenter and VBR stream despite port 33035 being open.
