Is "MaxSnapshotsPerDatastore" effective for restore.

Hi All,

Since v7 update 2, we have the "MaxSnapshotsPerDatastore" option.
I think that it's effective for backup or replication.
Is it also effective for full VM restore ?
I can't find anything about that.

Hi Sohei,

This registry key is for backup tasks only, restores are not affected.
