Monthly backup

Imagine a Veeam B&R Standard infrastructure based on a vSphere infrastructure and a single large NAS acting as repository.
Backup jobs run every night and keep 7 restore points.
I need to keep an additional restore point every month and to keep 7 restore points for the latest 7 days and 4 restore points for the latest 4 months.
I attempted to create a backup copy job but I cannot because the copy cannot reside on the same repository as the original backup.
The only solution I see is creating a new job to run once a month but it does not look as a smart solution.
Is there any smarter solution I can implement?

Create another repository pointing to the same location and target backup copy job to it.
