Hi,
We are currently running out of space on our backup repository, we reduced the number of restore points to keep but that is a short term solution. We will be adding more storage but from different media type and we are running Veeam B&R std edition so no scale-out backup respository. We will just create a new backup repository.
My question is: What is the simplest way to move some VM's from the current backup job to a new job and the new repository?
Thank you.

Re: Move/Split VM's to new backup repository
Hi Alain, if your repository is per-VM enabled, then you could copy the required VM backups along with metadata (VBM file) to the new storage and map new job to them. However, this was not specifically tested, so I'd recommend just create a new job and wait until these VMs fall out of retention in existing one.
